Third-Generation Family-Owned Business, US Water Systems

US Water Systems

Stuff That Sounds Too Good To Be True… Usually Is!

It seems that every few years, some company (or companies) pop up with some amazing new device in any number of industries, proclaiming that their product will revolutionize their industry.  Betamax was once the next great thing.  Microsoft would eat up Apple (how did that work out?).  And the, there are Chia Pets and water treatment devices that use some explainable technology to solve all of your water problems.

I’m not an expert at everything, but I am an expert at water treatment and you need to hear this and understand it:

There are some companies in the water treatment industry who happen to be marketing companies selling water treatment products.   See, they know how to market their product, but they really don’t know much about water treatment.  They just know how to market water treatment products.  Do you understand the difference?

The difference is that those companies make your water fit in their box, when if you want to solve any water problem, you need to take a comprehensive look at the problems and design a system around the problem, not adapt their system to your problem.  It’s like going to a doctor who has only have six drugs:  You have gout, you need ABC.  You have cancer, you need XYZ.  You have malaria, you need MNO, etc.  There’s a lot more than six medicines and there’s a lot more than six water problems.

US Water of Indiana is a water treatment company that treats water, not a marketing company that happens to be in the water treatment business.  I see companies pushing products that have no basis in fact, or are scientifically flawed, just plain undersized or misapplied.  Why?  They are marketing companies that sell water products.  They actually know very little about water… and that’s scary to me!

I have been a WQA Certified Water Specialist since 1981 and in fact, I have been and still am the highest certified water specialist in Indiana (by the Water Quality Association) with the longest tenure as well.  I know a little about marketing, but I know a lot about water treatment, and at US Water of Indiana, we GUARANTEE we will solve your water problems or we will give you your money back (ask for details).  That’s a bold statement… and one that we live by.

Who would you rather have treating your water in Central Indiana, Indianapolis, Avon, Fishers, Noblesville, Carmel, Greenwood, Franklin, Zionsville, Lebanon or Westfield – a slick marketing specialist or a water treatment specialist with 40 years experience (I just look young)?
